el kay is one of the early pioneers of HomeGrown. in his own words: "first we built the skatepark, then we put on a free 12 hour music festival in a prestigous venue to declare our presence. then we started a SoundSystem, the only one we know of that owns itself, with its own bank account & spending money. we are the only crew to ever put our SoundSystem inside the castle, raise the drawbridge & have it all night. it seemed a logical step to start our own version of a radio station that was limitless in it's vision. all this from a little sleepy seaside town where there is never anything to do..."


he loves music to be fresh & exciting, not a bandwagon surfer but a connoisseur of developing baselines & left field mentalities.


you can usually find el kay in dark corners enjoying the bed time dream sets and loving the breaking beats & the rolling bass.
